Although we may import some quality products for sale on our website from outside of the UK, we do endeavour to buy British quality made products to sell as a priority for the reasons as just stated. Where possible, we source our materials for the manufacture of our own products from local or British Companies, in order to support our local and national economy and to reduce our carbon footprint. Where at all possible, we use biodegradable products. Our Eco Awareness The Pink Monkey Company Ltd prides itself on its conscientious approach to it local economic and worldwide environmental awareness. We are a family run business who prides ourselves on our customer service and high production standards, something which our testimonials support. In October 2007, Dr. Jodie Nikel joined the company to help The Pink Monkey Company expand into an unusual & funky, yet quality and sophisticated online giftware store. However, Ruth saw a potential for producing high quality laser cut and engraved giftware specialising in leather and acrylic along with a quality gift online store. In recent years he has branched out significantly into other laser cutting and engraving services for industry specialising in wood, acrylic and leather. John was primarily a consultant pattern grader for the shoe trade and utilised laser technology for cutting patterns in acrylic.
